extWARN - The extWARN Emergency Alert Software for Intranets is a browser-based solution that makes
broadcasting alerts and warnings to office employees and/or campus personnel fast, easy, and
accurate.
extWARN enables you to rapidly broadcast Emergency alerts and notifications
directly to Network Users' PCs fast and easy via TCP/IP without purchasing costly hardware
add-ons.
extWARN uses a web-based Administration Console which provides for management
of all broadcast warnings/targets as well as for transmission of all emergency broadcasts to users
via TCP/IP.
extWARN also uses a Client Module that is loaded into PC's at Windows
startup or when users log into the network. This client program monitors a TCP port for
receipt of extWARN alerts/warnings and automatically invokes a targeted user's default web browser
to display the transmitted information.
